Terry Ann Jankowski, current PSA-PBK secretary and archivist, is a librarian emerita from the University of Washington (UW) Health Sciences Library, where she was employed for 36 years. Her roles were in public service, primarily reference and teaching database searching.

She attended the UW as an undergraduate, where she was inducted into PBK, and she received her master's in library science from UCLA. Gerry Oppenheimer, former director of the Health Sciences Library and board member of PSA-PBK, encouraged Terry to become active in PBK, both in the UW's Alpha Chapter and in PSA-PBK.
In addition to serving on the board, she has served on the Pathfinder and High School Book Awards Committees. Volunteering with PSA-PBK was a natural outgrowth of her other volunteer activities with the Girl Scouts of Western Washington, where she led, taught, and traveled with many girls, working to support their journey toward becoming young women of courage, confidence, and character.
When not volunteering, Terry enjoys diverting walks, especially with her husband and community walking group, as well as crafting (mostly in the fiber arts). She also loves to attend musical theater productions – let her know when you see a good show!
