Women in the Professions: The Next Steps

PSA-PBK board member Karrin Klotz was a panelist for Women in the Professions: The Next Steps, a one-day conference held at UW Bothell on Friday, October 28, 2011, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PSA-PBK was among the sponsors of this event.

The University of Washington Bothell is pleased to present a day of inquiry, crossprofessional conversations, and strategizing about women’s next steps in gaining leadership roles in the professions. In the morning session, some of our regions prominent women leaders will briefly address historical and continuing barriers to entry, barriers to leadership, and also what fundamental changes have occurred for women in the respective professions. The afternoon session, consisting of conversations across the professions, will articulate strategies for women moving ahead in professional leadership positions.
